When Europe realized that Africa had plenty of natural resources, King Leopold II decided not to wait for those natural resources to be traded to them, but rather to divide Africa amongst the European nations and decrease the cost of transport back to their main land. -

On the 25th of April Allied troops, including australians, land on Gallipoli penninsula. they then ha begun war with the other counrires. They wre in battle right away as the Germans were on the Gallipoli cove waiting. They fought in Galipolli to move some of the fight away and spread it around.
