The B2 will be required to get any degree

The Departament opens the "Borsa de substitucions"
Requirements as of todayIn this call, they change the rules of the game and they accept any Primary or Pre-Primary degree with a B2 for teaching English.
This means that the Minor is not necessary, even though the Ministeri had specified that it had to be a requirement. This is especially worrying since all the students that started university this year will have to certify a B2 level of English if they want to obtain their degree. This means: every teacher (Primary or Pre-Primary will be an EFL teacher). -
We contact Ensenyament to confirm this info
-
We receive the confirmation by the "Cap de personal docent" in Tarragona
-
We summon the other coordinators of the Minors
We celebrate the meeting in the UIC and we reach a consensus on:
- Not accepting this fact.
- Asking for the support of the Deans of the different Universities.
- Asking the Deans to summon the "Director General de Professorat i Personal de Centres Públics"
- Be ready to take further actions in case this is not enough -
