    This is usful in my paper because most children in urban environments grow up in divorced homes. I can research the effects of the lack of parenting (permissive parenting) due to divorce and how it influences a child's mental and cognitive health.

    This article focus's on children in secondary education (k-5). Not only does it talk about the three main parenting styles and how they effect children academic-wise, but it also focuses on how teachers effect the child's learning.
    I can use this article in my paper to discuss the different types of parenting and the academic response children receive from it. I can talk about learning disabilities and how parenting can positively or negatively influence them.
