The heavy bombing raids continue in Berlin. The result of these raid expands by huge civilian losses mostly in the semi-industrial suburb of Reinickendorf. Berlin was attacked by 443 Lancasters and 7 Mosquitos (military air crafts used by the RAF). -

Bolivia declares war ont all Axis powers. The Axis powers were countries managed by the Nazi Germany. These countries were Nazi Germany, the Kingdom of Italy and the Empire of Japan. They were believed to be the source of the problem and declared war on by Bolivia. -

Anne found a large laundry basket decorated with figures and bows. Everyone was very suprised of the size of the basket. The basket had a note from Santa and in it were shoes with the adress of its owner inside. -

The Allied forces bombed the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. The results of this raid was somewhere between 1300 and 1700 people dead. There were estimated 300 000 people evacuated. -

The Germans soldiers started the Massacre of Kalavryta, a town in southern Greece. It was the extermination of males and the total destruction of the town. Besides the murders and deportations of 80% of Grece's Jews, the Massacre of Kalavryta was the most important case of war crime in Greece during World War II. -
RAF air raids Frankfurt
The Royal Air Force (RAF) were the ones who made the heaviest raids on the war of Frankfurt, Germany. They dropped 2 000 tons of explosive and than sent Mosquitoes (military aircraft) to obstruct the fight against the fire. -
