The Epidemic Begins
Adults everywhere, worldwide have become contaminated by an unknown disease causing them to turn into flesh-eating zombies.
Two fourteen year old boys named Jack and Ed are the main characters and are unsure what to do now that they have been forced to defend themselves. -
The Chapel
Jack, Ed, and Frederique reach an old chapel to reunite with some of their friends, but when they knock on the doors, no one answers. Finally, they break inside and see that the boys had been burning books inside to keep warm, eventually this caused everyone inside to suffer from carbon monoxide poinsoning. The newcomers manage to revive them, but one of the boys named Matthew, believes that he has seen "The Lamb of God" and thinks that everything going on is foretold in the Bible. -
Escaping the School
Jack and Ed have been trapped inside their school, trying to figure a safe way out. Having to kill some of their former teachers along the way, they run into the French teacher's daughter, Frederique, who originally came to the school searching for her father. Together the boys and Frederique escape from the school safely. However after that, the boys inform Frederique of her father's death, causing her to become very depressed. -
Meet Greg (continued)
Matthew and his acolytes and Jack are also already on the bus, so the gang is 100% back together. There are also more new characters on the bus including three new girls and Greg's son, Liam. Greg's tells everyone that his overall goal is to collect as many children as he can and take them to London so that they can be safe. -
Meet Greg
Matt and his "acolytes" along with Jack, who wishes to see his family home again start heading to London, while Ed, Frederique and the rest of the crew head further out to the countryside. Ed's group gets attacked by teenager zombies and ends up losing one of the guys. Just before everything went to Hell though, a bus appears and saves the rest of the group. The driver of the bus is no other than a man named Greg Thorne, who claims that he is immune to the disease. -
R.I.P Liam
Liam is stranggled to death by his own father, Greg, because he found out that his father was infected by the disease. The next morning, Jack and Ed confront Greg about his son's mysterious death. Greg attacks the kids simultaniously as the bus is being attacked by more and more zombies. Most of the group escapes and makes it to the Imperial War Museum in South London. -
The Imperial War Museum
When the bus group arrives at the war museum there is already another group occupying it. The leader of the group's name is Jordan and at first he doesn't let them stay at the museum until Jack and him finally come to an agreement that both groups must collect food for themselves. -
Frederique the Zombie
The next day, a small group including Frederique sets off to search for food. They find a Tesco truck with lots of non-perishable food inside of it. While trying to get the truck to run, Frederique is surrounded by several adults, but they do not attack her. Once they return to the Museum, Frederique reveals that she is 16 and slowly becoming infected with the disease as well. She attacks a boy named Froggie and bites into his arm. Jordan and the others locker her in a room. -
R.I.P Jack
Jack, Ed, and Bam set out to go find Jack's house. On their way they come accross Oval Cricket Ground, a baseball stadium that was being used to massively destroy the infected bodies. Many police cars and ambulances were there, but of course no adults. When they try to leave, Greg comes back, now fully infected and kills Bam with a meat cleaver. He then slashes at Jacks chest and cuts Ed's face open from chin to forehead. -
R.I.P Jack (continued)
Just before Greg finishes Ed and Jack off, Ed mentions Liam and Greg immidiately stops and runs away. Ed, now carrying Jack because of his wounds being too severe to walk on his own, carries Jack all the way to his house. Ed tries to save his friend, Jack but it was too late. Jack passes away and Ed stays with him until the next morning. He cremates his body and then heads back to the museum.
