Justinian Plague
This plague hit the Eastern Byzantine Empire while under the rule of Justinian. It exhausted the population and common symptoms of it were fevers, seizures, and lymph gland swelling. Justinian did survive this plague, but like the other survivors, he was not the same and begame increasingly paranoid. This people blamed Justinian's wife, Theodora for the plague, saying it was a punishment from God for her sexual promiscuity. -

Civil war that took place in England and lasted for 2 years. Resulted from the King John's refusal to abide to the Magna Carta and the barons decided to revolt against him. -

This war was between the barons and Henry III. The leader of the barons was Simon de Montfort and the forces that represented Henry III were Royalist forces led by Prince Edward. One of the main reasons of this war was that being a foreigner that many other lords did not like, Simon de Montfort still married Henry III's sister and this started a disagreement. -
Charlemagne crowned Emperor.
Pope Leo II crowns Charlemagne emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Charlemagne tries to restore pull Rome out of the Dark Ages and back to the magnificent civilization that it used to be. He strove for restoring education.
