Paris has an argument with his house slave Tituba. The same night of the argument Paris goes into the woods and see women dancing around a fire. He wanted to know how dancing around a fire and it upset him. -
Abigail confronts Proctor
pg. 465-471
Proctor told Abigail their a affair was over and she confronts him. Proctor could no longer fight temptation and cheated on his wife. If this secret gets out it can ruin his reputation. -
Hale question Tituba
pg. 472-485
Someone said the Tituba was one of the women dancing around the fire. Tituba confesses to being a with when hale arrived at Paris' house. This might not end well for Tituba she could be burned for this. -
A home spiraling out of control
pg. 487-493
Proctor's wife rebuked him after he came home from the woods. The two go into a heated argument, Proctor tells her to stay in a women's place. The two are interrupted by Mary entering. -
Elizabeth's lie
pg. 112-113
Elizabeth enters the room to be questioned. Elizabeth is asked if she knew of her husband committing larceny. Protecting him she lied and had bee thrown back in jail. -
The poppet
pg. 73-75
Cheever asked for the poppets Elizabeth may keep. Once he found Elizabeth claimed the poppet to be Mary's. When Elizabeth enters with Mary she is questioned by Cheever. -
Order in the court
pg. 72-77 Cheever is trying Elizabeth, she is being tried for witchcraft. Abigail has done this because she is still in love with Proctor. Alliances wane, trust is tested, and lies are being told. . -

pg. 43-48 Hale is introduced and tells them Rebecca is charged with witchcraft. Both the men and women are questioned. They start questioning one's position and Hale defends them -
Lies among us
pg. 83-88 Hathorne, the judge is questioning the girls that were dancing in the fire. The woman says she's not a witch and Giles comes in with Evidence.Giles argues with the judge and the governor determined to save his wife. -
The blame game
pg. 114-120 Giles continues to argue, determined to fight to save his wife's life. He gets so angry he threatens to kill Putnam, Danforth tells them to calm down. Mary Warren comes out with Abigail and Abigail tells everyone she is a witch. -
God's vanity
pg. 138-141
Elizabeth is questioned and John is brought in. They begin to question John, he then confesses and is proven not guilty. They ask for it in writing to which John denies. -
Prideful doubt
pg. 142-145 Proctor is uneasy, he is unwilling to sign the paper. He knows that if he does it will mean the end of his good name. He signs the paper and destroys it, ultimately deciding to give into his Pride, killing himself.
