Act One
Girls were seen dancing naked around a fire. The next day, Betty was in the bed sick and inert. Mr. Parris thinks the girls were performing acts of witch craft. -
Act One
Abagail threatens the girls not to tell anyone that they were practicing witchcraft in the forest. Betty wakes up screaming and it caused everyone to come and see whats wrong. Reverend Hale is called into town for Betty. -
Act One
Hale questions Abagail and she blames Tituba. Tituba blames another woman in the village who worships the devil. Betty awakes from her coma and accuses the woman in the village with Tituba. -
Act Two
Mary Warren shows up to the Proctor household. She lets John know that there has been thirty nine women arrested for witchcraft. Elizabeth confronts John about him and Abigail's relationship. -
Act Two
Proctor tries to persuade Mary to help him in court. She admits that Abigail told her about the affair. John goes to court so that Elizabeth doesn’t get in trouble for him. -
Act Two
Elizabeth is mentioned in court. John couldnt day all Ten Commandments , so Elizabeth has to say adultery for him. Elizabeth is attested because of the poppet. -
Act Three
Giles, Francis Nurse, and Proctors wives have all been charged with witchcraft. Danfirth says if Proctor delays his petitions, Elizabeth will stay in jail. John Proctor refuses. -
Act Three
Giles gets arrested. Games starts to feel guilty about all of the death warrants he’s signed. Danforth questions Abigail and Mary Warren. The girls began to repeat Mary . -
Act Three
Elizabeth is questioned by Danforth. She lies to protect him but doesn’t know that he already committed to adultery. Hale quits the court. -
Act Four
Elizabeth convinces John to lie and admit to witchcraft. The court wanted to post his signature but he rips it up. John Proctor dies.
