Parris is sitting at the end of his daughters bed. His daughter Betty is laying in her bed inert and he believes something is wrong with her. Mr and Mrs Putnam arrive, and they speak about Parris´ daughter. -

Act 1 entry 2 pages 465-471
We learn about Thomas Putnam and his vindictive nature. Abigail starts to blame Tituba for the events happening. After Abigail confronts Proctor. -
Act 1 entry 3 pages 472-485
Rebecca comes in and tries to reassure everyone. At the end of the act Betty rises and starts screaming about who she saw with the devil. The same happens with Abigail, at this point the whole village of Salem falls into a mass hysteria. -
Act 2 entry 1 pages 487-493
The act opens with Proctor talking to his wife, Elizabeth. Then Proctor wonders about his maid Mary Warren, he is upset about her leaving without his permission. A few lines later in comes Mary Warren and gives Elizabeth a poppet, and tells them about the convictions. -
Act 2 entry 2 pages 494-498
Hale arrives at Proctors house. Hale begins to ask questions of what they know about the rumors of the witches in the village. He then begins to question the poppet Mary Warren made for Elizabeth because they found a pin the the belly of Abigail. -
Act 2 entry 3 pages 499-503
Cheever arrives to take Elizabeth away because she was convicted. They speak about the poppet. Mary refuses to go against Abigail. -
Act 3 entry 1 pages 505-511
They arrive at the court where we first encounter Danforth. They speak to all convicted. Danforth then speaks with Proctor about the events that started all the conflicts. -
Act 3 entry 2 pages 512-517
Danforth then talks to Giles Corey about his wife. Then they bring Mary Warren in along with the other girls. Abigail acts as if Mary is harrassing them with witch craft. -
Act 3 entry 3 pages 518-525
Mary begins to play along with Abigail. The court then speaks about the incident between Elizabeth and Abigail. After Abigail and the other girls act as if Mary is hurting them. -
Act 4 entry 1 pages 527-530
The opening scene starts with Herrick speaking with Tituba. After they speak about the amount of people they have taken in. They then decide that the court has a lot of attention on them. -
Act 4 entry 2 pages 531-533
Hale arrives and talks to Danforth about a potential rebellion. So Danforth decided the court will use Proctor to take the heat off the church. Now they need to get Proctor to lie for them. -
Act 4 entry 3 pages 534-539
They then have Elizabeth try to convince Proctor to admit to witch craft. She is not to happy to do it but she does. She is able to convince him but at the end he refuses and is killed.
