  • Chimp population massively declined

    The global population of chimpanzee's has declined by almost half from the beginning of the 20th century
  • Gombe Stream National Park

    Gombe Stream National Park is formed in western Tanzania. The common chimpanzee is one of the many species that can be found there. Jane Goodall came here at a young age and studied chimpanzees.

    The Chimpanzee entered the 1996 IUCN Red List of species as "endangered".
