We got a whole right because of this. Safe to say that everyone despised it. It was what allowed the soldiers to stay in the people homes without permission. -
The Boston Massacre
A mob of protesting commoners were slaughtered by Redcoats. -
Taxes were lifted with the exception of the tea tax
Ironic because of the protest. -
Boston Port Act
This act was made to punish the people of Boston for the tea party and it locked down the city causing shortages and horses to die as they couldn't get hey. This act probably hated by Boston's people, but more than likely a large majority experienced apathy towards the event due to it's more localized effects. -
Administration of Justice Act
The law allowed for more Boston massacres to occur, definitely top or the 2nd when it comes to being hated. -
Massachusetts Government Act
Similar to the Boston act but bigger area, and smaller effect. Just made irritating tweaks to the Massachusetts preexisting government to give more power to the crown. -
Quebec Act
It was more of a annoyance than anything else as didn't manage to do much. It meant to take the preexisting french people and make them English.
