    The USS Pueblo was an american ship, that held 83 men. In January of 1968, the ship was within a 12 mile radius of Korean Terriorty. Korean men, boarded and took over the ship, when americans tried to escape Korean people shot the commander and two officers, the Americans were then taken to Pyongyang, where they were charged as spies, and were beaten while being forced to study propaganda. In December, the US and Korea came to an agreement and Korea released the 82 surviving men back the US.
