Barrier that was erected to seperate East and West Germany. Protected East Germans from escaping into non-communist Weat Germany. -
Cuban Missile Crisis
The Soviet Union sent nuclear missiles to Cuba. President Kennedy imposed a naval blockade to further prevent Soviet Shipments.
Almost sent US and Cuba into Nuclear war.
