    Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809 and was assassinated in 1865. He was the 16th president. He was elected president on November , 1860 when he was 52 years old. He was president during the Civil War. He dealt with issues such as slavery and is famous for signing the Emancipation Proclamation and giving the Gettysburg Address.
