The first states to secede were South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Lousiana, Texas. These states motivated even more calls for war with the Union. -

The attack on Fort Sumpter was the first clash of Union and Confederate troops and sparked the Civil War. No longer could the Union remain neutral and volunteers on both side sparng up to answer the call to arms. -

The most pivotal point in the entire war the two great armies clash together on this fateful day. But the union holds strong and wins a victory crushing the southern morale and marking the end of the southern victories. -

One of the last major battles of the war the people of Petersburgh hold out till the end. But after food runs out and it becomes clear there is no choice they surrender to the north. -

Lincoln crushes every opponet by far more than a majority. This solidifies the war will not end until the south is defeated. -
