Rebellion
On the eighth day out, the slaves rose in rebellion. Hopkins and the crew suppressed the uprising by firing on the slaves, killing eight and injuring many. -
The Middle Passage
Overall, 88 slaves died on the Middle Passage. The surviving slaves were sold on the Caribbean island of Antigua.
