    The Sugar Act wad an act that was passed because they hoped to address smuggling sugar into the colonies from the French West Indians, also increase revenue, and debt from the French and Indian War. People would smuggle sugar into other colonies, so they taxed it, so they wouldn't smuggle it anymore. That's why they passed the Sugar Act.

    The Stamp Act was taxing paper with printings on it, or ink on it. It gave the British more tax money. All of the printed materials in the colonies that had stamps would be taxed.

    The Quartering Act was an act where Soliders were charged with protected against threats from remaining Frenchmen, and also Native Americans. They also had Criminal Charges if you were refusing to obey the act.

    The Townshend Act was an act where no one could argue with the British Government about taxed. Things such as Glass, red lead, white lead, painters colors, paper and tea were all taxed according to the act. A lot of colonists were mostly angry about the tea because taxed.

    The Boston Port Act intent was to extend continue British authority over the American colonies. It was designed to punish the inhabits of Boston, Massachusetts for the incident that is known as the Boston Tea Party. They closed the Boston port and they were demanding the city's residents to pay about 1 million dollars of tea dumped into the Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea Party.

    The MA Government Act said if any appeal shall be sued or preferred against any person, for murder, or other capital offense, in the province of Massachusetts Bay and gave it's royally-appointed governor wide-ranging powers. It was also designed to punish the inhabitants of Boston, Massachusetts.
  • Quebec Act

    Quebec Act
    The Quebec Act was where all territories, islands, and countries from the North west of Pennsylvania, to the Ohio River is now apart of the new found land and the Quebec Provence. It also gave the French Canadians complete religious freedom and restored the French form of civil law.
