This act was passed in order to address smuggled sugar and goods, and to increase revenue to diminish the crowns debt they gained. -
Quartering Act
The act was passed because King George III wanted to enforce the laws and keep colonial interest high. So he had the colonists forced to take care of soldiers and take them into their homes. -
The Stamp Act
King George thought after repealing the sugar act, the stamp act would be more fair, so he made taxes and stamps on all goods going into the US. -
The Townshend Act
the townshend act was passed to stop fraud and regugating abuses. -

passed to grant licences to the said united company. -
The Boston Port Act
they passed this act to punish the colonists & show them who is boss. -
The MA government act and the administration of justice act
king George III was conflicted because he was losing the colonists, so he passed this act to stop them from having a meeting without a government official there, or without permission from the officials. -
The Quebec Act
created to meet the needs of the government, and turned into them having Britain claim Quebec.
