  • The Sugar Act

    The Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act said that anything purchased that has sugar in it, will have an extra tax on it.
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act
    The Quartering Act said that if there wasn't enough room to house soldiers, The Quarter Act would help pay to get them housing, barns, or any other buildings.
  • The Stamp Act

    The Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act said that every paper, newspaper, letter, etc. needs a stamp on it and you have to purchase each individual stamp to send or post whatever your writing.
  • The Townshend Act

    The Townshend Act
    The Townshend Act stated that no one in the colonies should be taxed for all of their goods and this act was passed to get rid of all of the other acts.
  • The Tea Act

    The Tea Act
    The Tea Act stated that any tea from the India Company will be taxed as merchandise in the 13 colonies.
  • Administration of Justice Act.

    Administration of Justice Act.
    This act states that if anyone has charges for murder or any other crime/ offence in the Massachusetts Bay, they can be tried in any of the other 13 colonies or in Great Britain.
  • Boston Port Act

    Boston Port Act
    The Act said that King George lll was losing control of the 13 colonies so they decided to tax them more to keep them in check and to make sure they keep earning money.
  • The Quebec Act

    The Quebec Act
    This act was passed and gave Quebec more land and the right to keep their catholic faith.
