The Black Death breaks out amongst Kipchak Khan (Janibeg's army), whilst in battle with the Genoese trading city Kaffa. The desceased bodies of Janibeg's army were catupaulted over the city walls of Kaffa, infecting them. When Italian trading vessels in the harbor returned to Genoa, they carried the plague with them to Europe - peaking the beggining of the Black Death's outbreak in Europe. By this time already, the Black Death had already infected most of China, Mongolia, and Istanbul. -

Due to the trading ships that spread The Black Death from Kaffa, the Black Death spreads to Sicily, having being carried along with 12 Genoese galleys. The Black Death has also travelled east to Gaza, and infected various cities in Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. -

The Black Death has spread to it's first location in France - Marsielle. Soon after, France begins to panic as the plague spreads through eastern territories and then into Spain. -

By 1348, The Black Death had sperad so rapidly through Europe that goverment figures had no time to react at all. Around one third of Europe's population had perished, During 1348, half of Norway's population had perished as well. The plague reached Venice and Pisa also. -

By June of 1348, the plague had spread outwards from Italy into England, Germany, Spain and Portugal. By this time, over 60% of Norway's population had perished completely. -

By 1349, most of the Middle East had been infected with The Black Death. Saudi Arabia and Iraq were some of the worst sufferers, and Bagdhad recieved a terrible second-round of the plague. The Netherlands were beggining to suffer from The Black Death around this time too. By now, the Black Death would have infected most of Europe, select parts of the Middle East, and areas of Asia such as China and Mongolia (which were early sufferers). -

East Germany and Scandinavia were suffering from the Black Plague by 1350. Britain and Franch were completely infected from every corner. By this time, around 85% of Europe was infected by the Black Death. -

The Black Death spreads to almost all of Europe, and Scandinavia. Russia becomes infected during this year as well. Well over 25-30 million people have perished in Europe alone, and around 70 million people in China have also died due to The Black Death. -
