    Seven out of one judge where for upholding segregation laws and the one judge was not there when the voting happen.
    The thing that it is important about this event was that even a new age was about to begin there was no change to the minority race of the time.

    It was a land mark case because before this case black and white students where separated into different schools.But because of this supreme court case it made it unconstitutional to have both races separated.The reason this case is so important because it was the first major win for the civil right movement.
