The Big Bang Occurs
About 13.8 Billion years ago, astronomers believe the Big Bang caused the creation of the universe. According to the Big Bang theory, the universe started as a very dense, very hot state and expanded rapidly and still is doing so today. -

Einstein and the Static Universe
A static universe also called an infinite universe, is a theory that says the universe is both spatially infinite and temporally infinite, and space is neither expanding nor contracting. -
3
Vesto Slipher
Vesto Slipher was the first to observe that almost all nebulas were moving away from Earth. This was the first proof against Einstein. -
4
Edwin Hubble
Hubble's Law was created by Edwin Hubble in 1929. Hubble found out that all the galaxies appeared to be moving away from us. Edwin Hubble proposed the law of redshifts. -
5
Fritz Zwicky
Fritz Zwicky was an astronomer who was the first to talk about Dark Matter. While working out the mass of galaxies, he discovered that the mass was much higher. He concluded that much of the matter in the galaxies must be dark -

Woodrow Wilson and Cosmic Background Radiation
Cosmic Background Radiation was founded when Woodrow Wilson and his partner were working on one of their antenna systems. They heard a strange noise and after ruling out all the possibilities, they found they had pigeon dung in the system. They took all the dung out but, the noise had not stopped. That is because Cosmic Background Radiation is the remanent of the Big Bang. -

Dark Energy
As scientists got a better understanding of the Big Bang Theory and the creation of the universe, their observations changed with the discovery of dark energy. This is energy they can not understand that instead of pulling galaxies together, it is pushing them apart.
