    Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztecs, is founded. It was chosen because they saw an eagle holding a snake on a cactus, which was believed to be a sign.

    The Aztecs form an alliance with the Texococans and the Tacubans which helps them to defeat the Tepanecs.

    The priests notice a comet in the sky in the night. To the Aztecs, it is a sign of doom. Two years later, the Spanish arrived.
