The Fisrt Enslaved Africans Arrive in the Americas
In 1511, first enslaved Africans arrive in the Americas. European colonists in the Americas used the enslaved Africans to work on farms and plantations. Ensalved Africans were cheap labor for the Europeans, but this demand resulted in the harsh and brutal ways of the slave trade. -

Cortés Conquers the Aztec Empire
Cortés made many colonies in Mexico with his conquistadors. When they encountered the Aztecs, the Aztecs thought that Cortés was a God. The Aztecs therefore supplied the Aztecs with pleanty of gold, also for the reason that Cortés told them, "I have a disease of the heart that only gold can cure". In the end Cortés easily conquered the Aztecs mainly because of their muskets and cannons, the help of native groups, and disease. -

Francisco Pizarro Conquers the Incan Empire
Pizzaro and is army conquer the Incan Empire in 1533. Pizzaro crushed the Incan forces and Kidnapped Atualpha, the Incan ruler. Atualpha offered them a room of gold and two rooms of silver. The Spanish took the offerings but still killed Atualpha, and captuerd the Incan capital , Cuzco, without a struggle. -
The English Found Jamestown
Three ships from England, with more than 100 settlers, reach the coast of Virginia. They claim the land tand name their settlement Jamestown. The colony had a horrible start, but after the discovery of tobacco, the colony improved greatly. -
The English Found Plymouth
The Pilgrims arrive in Massachusetts and found a second English colony , Plymouth. In England, the Pilgrims were persecuted for their religious beliefs, so they sought religious freedom. -
The French and Indian War Ends
Because the English wanted more land for their population, they pushed farther west in the Americas and collided with France's territiory. This became a major conflict and eventually led to war when there was a disppute over land claims in the Ohio Valley. In 1763, the British colonists with their army defeated the French and took over all of France's North American holdings. This became known as the French and Indian War because the Indians fought on both sides.
