    Were a group of farmer-warriors who lived in Britain over a thousand years ago.
    They were strong people how fought a lot of battles each tribe was ruled by its own strong warrior.
    They were 3 tribes the ANGLO, SAXON, and the JUTE. The tribe jute was the smallest one.

    They were small wooden huts with a straw roof, with only one room inside. They built their own villages surrounded by a lot of natural resources, and the British forest had everything they needed.
    The biggest house belonged to the chief and all his warriors, the house had a long hall with a stone fire in the middle.

    The villages were named after the leader of the tribe so everyone knew who was in charge.

    They made their own clothes with natural materials. Men wear long tunics made of wool and the women wear an under-dress of line an a outside-dress called peplo

    Pagan gods to give them good health, a plentiful harvest or success in battle.
