    The Boston Massacre was a street fight that happened between a patriot mob and the British soldiers. The mob started to throw snowballs, sticks, ans stones at the soldiers which resulted in many colonist getting killed.

    The battles of Lexington and Concord started the American Revolution. The British army made their way from Boston to Lexington to capture Samual Adams and John Hancock. They also went to Concord to destroy the Americans weapons and ammunition.

    The British and Hessian troops had no other choice then to surrender to the American forces. This was a major turning point in the revolutionary war.

    The winter was very harsh which caused American troops and 11,000 soldiers to station at Valley Forge. Many died from diseases. But, most troops that were struggling, were held together by George Washington.

    The British army was forced to surrender when a joint Franco-American land and sea campaign entrapped them. This eventually ended up being one of the main reasons the American Revolution ended.
