    The American and French army traps the British army causing them to surrender.

    This ended the American Revolution.

    This created the 2nd continental congress and set up a central government that had 1 house legislature.

    People were unhappy with being governed under the articles of confederation , because of this, they thought it should be revised but this lead them to realizing that they needed an entirely new form of government.

    This was created to protect citizens from intrusive governments.
