The Boston Tea Party was an important event because they threw many chests of tea into the Boston harbor because everything was being taxed.

    On September 28, 1781, the British General Cornwallis surrendered almost 8,000 of his troops to General George in hopes of winning the revolution. After General Cornwallis surrendered he later died on October 5, 1805. The Battle of Yorktown was important because it led to peace and negotiations.

    On September 03, 1783, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin decided to create a treaty of pairs to stop the American Revolution. and to also recognize the United States as an independent nation. The Treaty of Pairs was an important event because it ended the American Revolution.
