Common Sense was a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine. The writing advocated for freedom from the British government. -

The Declaration summarized the colonists' motivations for seeking independence. -
Battle of Yorktown
in October 19, 1781 there was the battle of Yorktown. There were 88 people were killed some were German. -

The treaty of paris was signed to end the war between the Americans and the British. -
