Navigations Acts
-The purpose of the Navigations Acts was to regulate trade of the empire. The Navigation Acts required all trades between England and the colonies to be carried in English or colonial ships. -

First Continental Congress
-13 colonies except Georgia met in Philadelphia to organize colonial resistance to Parliament’s Coercive Acts because of the Boston Tea Party. -
Lexington and Concord
- First sun for American troops forcing out the British. It was the first fight of the Revolutionary War.

- It took the step of declaring America’s independence from Britain. It was convened after the American Revolutionary War has already begun.
