  • boston Masacre

    British soldiers, come to support a sentry who was being pressed by a heckling, snowballing crowd, british tropss shot and 5 people were killed. people call it the start of the American Revolution.
  • Boston Tea Party

    the british pass the tea act on the colonist and the colonies did not like it so some dresses as a near by indian tribe and got in the brithish ship dunpted the tea before it got to harbor and could be taxed to them
  • "The British Are Coming!"

    at midnight paul reveree rode through the town yelling "the british are coming!" and warned the militia men and everyone else for the british were planning to attack
  • Lexington and Concord

    These were the first battles of the American Revolution. “shot heard around the world” the start of the battle and to this day no one knows who shot first.
  • Delaware

    Pennsylvania declares itself independent of British and Pennsylvanian authority, thereby creating the state of Delaware.
  • INDEPENDENCE

    The Declaration of independence was signed wiht proclaimed the 13 colonies were free of British and the colonies were their own country where it was called The United States of America.
  • Battle of Trenton

    General Washington's men were feeling defeated so to bost them up the general led the troops accross the Delaware river and surrounded the opponent troops with the element of surprise they were able to take from their captives ammunition, food and other equipment that would help them survive the winter of 1777.
  • Valley Forge

    valley forge was a 6 month encampment for the continental army no battle was fought here with the enemy but with their self, battle to survive the soldiers were hungry there was diseases and despair and they were ready to give up but diddnt and after 6 months they got help and food
  • Alliance with France

    The Treaty of Alliance with France was signed on February 6, 1778, creating a military alliance between the United States and France against Great Britain
  • The Articles of Confederation

    The Articles of Confederation became America’s first attempt at a constitution.independent states while ensuring that the federal government remained relatively decentralized and weak. It forbade the creation of a federal tax. It allowed each state to adopt its own currency
  • Yorktown

    The british General Charles Cornwallis surrendered his troops in Yorktown, Virginia therefor ending the american revolution
  • Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris ended the Revolutionary War between Great Britain and the United States, recognized American independence and established borders for the new nation.
  • US Constitition

    The Constitution of the United States of America is signed by 38 of 41 delegates present at the conclusion of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.
