The Boston Massacre

The Battle of Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill took place on June 17, 1775, but actually took place on Breeds Hill. It was a British victory but they paid a terrible price for it.They suffered very heavy losses over 800 wounded and 226 killed, including a large number of officers. -

The Americans loose the battles of Brandyvine and German town leaving their capital Philadelpha unprotected. The British took advantage of this and captured the city. Although the British took the American capital, the war continued on for 6 more years. -

The Battle of Brandywine, also known as the Battle of Brandywine Creek, was fought between the American army of Major General George Washington and the British army of General Sir William Howe on September 11, 1777. The British defeated the Americans and forced them to retreat to their captical Philidelphia. -

This battle was an American victory. Burgoyne lost 1,000 men in the battle, he was greatly outnumbered. American losses came to about 500 killed and wounded. This is usually considered the turning point of the war. -

The Siege of Charleston was one of the major battles that took place towards the end of the American Revolutionary War. The Americans lose the city and 5000 troops. It was the biggest loss of troops suffered by the Continental Army in the war. -

This battle was an American Victory. The heavly outnumbered British army was forced to surrender. This was the last major battle in the Revolutionary war. -
