PONTIAC'S WAR
It was a war against the Indians and the French. There purpose was to capture British forts. From the Ottawa Chief Pontiac. They had to pay taxes because of the war debt. -
PROCLAMATION OF 1763
To organize britians new colonies and to control trade. It banned colonial settlers to settle west of the Appilation Mountains. They were angry at it. They couldn’t settle west of the Appilation mountains. -
THE SUGAR ACT
They said that every colonist had to pay tax on sugar and other products. So they could make money off the other colonies. They didn’t like it. They could only trade with britian. -
THE STAMP ACT
Its directed tax on printed materials. They needed money for war supplies. It made they upset. Because they taxed it on every paper product. The Sugar Act involved trade. They threatned the tax leaders. -
THE QUARTERING ACT
For colonist to house British soldiers. To house the British soldiers during the war. Let British Soldiers live in their homes during the war. They protested, threated the king, and threatened to kill some other there soldiers -
THE STAMP ACT CONGRESS
New York City. The leaders of the states. 11 states represented. A document written by the stamp act that declared that taxes on the british colonies without their formal consent -
THE TOWNSHEND ACTS
Charles Townshend, who proposed the program. To raise revenue in the colonies. It taxed lead, paint, paper, and tea. They boycotted British goods. The tea tax remained. -
THE BOSTON MASSACRE
Many people from Boston saw that the British government was using the British troops as a threat to the people in Massachusetts. On March 5th 1770 British Army officers killed 5 people and injured 6 others. Not really. It wasn’t a massacre. It was the British army killing 5 people.

AMERICAN REVOLUTION STARTS
The war started in 1775 and ended. They each controlled areas of land in America and they both wanted to get more land. The British. The British won over all. They had a huge war debt. -
LEXINGTON AND CONCERD
They were sent to arrest John Hancock and Samual Adams
They fought between the two towns with about 700 British soilders to destroy military supplies.
A man who volunteered to fight in a war in a minutes notice.
The British came in to get weapons from the town and the town fought back and they retreated.
The British lost men and retreated to Boston. -
BATTLE AT BUNKER HILL
They were in Boston. Charlestown Peninsua. Colonel William Prescott. General William Howe. They werent on Bunker Hill. They waited for the Americans to cover over the hill.
Because they thought it was smart. The British waited for the Americans to come cover the hill to ambush them. The Americans got wiped out.The British won the battle. They retreated with less men. -
THE SECOND CONTINENTAL CONGRESS
The Congress voted to create the Continental Army out of the militia units around Boston. A writen agreement to not have a war between the 13 coloinies. A document that stated why the 13 colonies had armed forces during the war. They had the respond to new taxes. -
THE TREATY OF PARIS
Its was a agreement to end the American Revolution. The French gave the British what is now Canada. They lost a lot of land in Canada
