The beginning
We were first developed by a breeder named Monica Berryhill from Texas in December of 1984. There were a total of seven in this litter. She bred a dwarf rex buck named Zoro with a lynx rex doe named Cotton. Of the seven offspring, three of them were does. Their names were Happy, Bashful, and Dopey. Most of us can be traced back to those three. -

Happy, Bashful, and dopey were sent to Linda Thompson and Gloria Middleton in Sarasota, Florida to be bred to extend the breed. -
