Pressurized Cabin
Airplanes have, since then, done nothing but improve. In 1938 the the pressurized cabin was created by Charles William Morris. Piloted by Lt. Harrold Harris, the Stratoliner took flight. -
The Oxygen Mask
The oxygen mask was invented in 1941 by Arthur Bulbulian. Oxygen masks are used when the pressure of the aircrafts cabin goes above sea level and additional oxygen is required. -
The Black Box
Created around 1953, the black box voice recorder was invented by David Warren. The black box records whatever is going on in the cockpit and has proven instrumental in the investigations of plane crashes.
