There was a bad storm that has happend and Huck and Jim see a house will a dead man floating downt the river, Jim knows that it is Hucks pap so he tries to destract Huck so he dont see who it is

Huck finds some slave hunters in order to get some help he says that a family member of his (jim) has small poxs so the hunters dint get to close to see that he is a slave and the hunters dont want to catch the small poxs so they stay away

Huck goes to the Phelps house and pretends to be Tom. after Huck gets settled he goes to town to try to Tom to explain whats happening before he gets there so Huck finds Tom and explains everything.

Tom wants to help Huck find Jim so after everyone goes to bed Tom and Huck sneak out but they get chased by the dogs and om gets shot they fall asleep and wake mup the next morning but Tom dissaprered and nobody could find him
