In 1971 the company Kenbak Corporation delivered the Kenbak-1 computer. The Computer History Museum considers this to be the first personal computer, it was created by John Blakenbaker. -

Kodak introduced the pocket camera which launched amateur photography. The lead designer for this new compact camera was Dean Peterson. -

The HP-65 was the first magnetic card-programming calculator launched in 1974. Created by the Hewitt-Packer company. -
LED Digital Watch
The company Texas Instrument introduced the newest LED digital watch. This watch sold for $20 at the time, it was cheaper than other earlier watches. Making it a hot item purchase at the time. -
The Speak and Spell
Texas Instrument in 1978 brought out the Speak and Spell learning device. It was one of the earliest electronic handheld device with a visual display.
