    In 1971 the company Kenbak Corporation delivered the Kenbak-1 computer. The Computer History Museum considers this to be the first personal computer, it was created by John Blakenbaker.

    Kodak introduced the pocket camera which launched amateur photography. The lead designer for this new compact camera was Dean Peterson.

    The company Texas Instrument introduced the newest LED digital watch. This watch sold for $20 at the time, it was cheaper than other earlier watches. Making it a hot item purchase at the time.
