The Lost Colony
England is having a tough time at Roanoke and when John White leaves to go get suppies and comes back, everyone is missing. Where did everyone go? To this day, nobody knows what happened. -
England's first permanent colony

Jamestown was low on food and when the people of Jamestown think it is all over, an English ship arives. But there is not eoungh food. This is when ''The Straving Time'' starts and many people die. -

Massachusetts (Bay Colony) becomes the second colony. The Puritans were the founders of this colony and were seeking freedom of religion. -
The Plymouth Colony
The Pilgrims land in Plymouth, Massachusetts. -
England finds its Thrid
New Amsterdam (New York) becomes England's thrid colony. The Duke of York were the founders of this place. The Duke had control over what they called New Netherland but then the British took over. They changed the name to New Amsterdam (New York). -

Another one! Maryland becomes the 4th colony. Lord Baltimore was the founder of this place and named it after his wife Mary. -

Rhode Island was the fifth colony. It was founded by Roger Williams. -

Connecticut becomes the sixth colony. The founder of this place was Thomas Hooker. -

Delaware becomes England's seventh colony. The founders of delaware are Peter Minuit and New Sweden Company. Also it strated out as a Swedish colony called New Sweden -

North Carolina becomes the eighth colony, The Virginians were the founders of this place. -

South Carolina becomes the Ninth colony. Eight Nobles with a Royal Charter from Charles II were the founders of South Carolina. -

The first bible printed in the 13 Original Colonies was written by John Eliot in the Massachusetts Bay Colony. -
Number Ten
New Jersey becomes the Tenth Colony. The founders of this place are Lord Berkeley and Sir George Carteret. -
England finds its Eleventh.
Pennsyvlania becomes th eleventh colony. The founder of this place is William Penn. Pennsylaniameans "Penn's Woods". -
England's Twelfth
New Hampshire becomes England's twelfth colony. John Wheelwright was the founder of this place. -
England's final and last Colony
Georgia becomes the last of the 13 Original Colonies. The founder of this place was James Edward Oglethorpe. Georgia served for two reasons : 1. For a buffer between Florida ( Spanish colony) and S.C. ( a wealthy, English colony). 2. For a place for poor people from England that coundn't pay off their debts. -
Slavery is legalized
Georgia legalized slavery. Slavery is now leagalized in all thirteen colonies.
