RUNAWAY SCRAPE
The Runaway Scrape took place between September of 1835 to April of 1836. The Texans were ordered to leave their homes to flee from the coming Mexican army. 189 Texans were killed in the beginning causing the remaining elderly, woman and children to seek refuge 7 miles east of Gonzales on Peach Creek. -
BATTLE OF GONZALES
The Battle of Gonzales began October 2, 1835. It was the first battle of the Texas Revolution between the Texans and the Mexican army. This battled marked the first break away between the colonist and the Mexican government. -

Siege of Bexar began October 12, 1835. The Siege of Bexar was the early period of war were a volunteer Texan army defeated the Mexican at San Antonio de Bexar. Texans wanted freedom from the Mexican dictatorial government. -
BATTLE OF CONCEPCION
The battle of Concepcion was fought in October 28, 1835. The battle was led by Domingo Ugartechea and Texans led by James Bowie and James Fannin. The rebel Texans fought of the attacks of the Mexican army and drove them back into San Antonio. -

BATTLE OF THE ALAMO
The Battle of the Alamo lasted from February 23, 1836- March 6, 1836. It was between the Mexican troops and the Texans. The Mexican troops had reclaimed the Alamo mission killing Texans inside. -

BATTLE OF COLETO
The Battle of Coleto creek was fought from March 3, 1836- March 20, 1836, during the Goliad campaign of the Texas Revolution. The Mexican army surrounded the Texans and demanded they surrender. The Mexican president Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna order the Texans be treated as pirates and massacred.
