    The Battle of Gonzales is said to be the beginning of the Texas Revolution, which started on October 2, 1835. This battle was between people like Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea (Commander of Mexican Troops) along with his army & many Texian settlers. This had a major impact since it had been marked as the start/first part of the Texas Revolution.
  • Siege of Bexar

    Siege of Bexar
    The Siege of Bexar was the first real battle of the Texas Revolution, the Siege started around October 12, 1835. In this battle many people took part in it, these people included General Cos, Stephen Austin, Santa Anna, James Bowie, James W. Fannin Jr, & Sam Houston. This played a big role in the Revolution since taking over San Antonio was a big boost & reason for the Texans to go on & keep fighting.

    Battle Of Concepcion
    The battle of Concepcion started around October 28, 1835, this battle was near Mission Concepcion. Some people who had taken part in this included James Bowie, James Fannin, & General Austin. The Battle of Concepcion was a big part of the Texas Revolution since it was the first Major Battle of war in which the Mexicans had surrendered.

    The Battle Of The Alamo officially started on February 23, 1836. Some people who had been a part of this battle included Santa Anna, Colonel Travis, & their army. Though Texas had lost a great defeat against the Mexicans, this had helped encourage the other Texan fighters to keep going for their fellow friends.
  • Runaway Scrape

    Runaway Scrape
    The Runaway scrape officially began on March 11, 1836. After Santa Anna was on his way to attack the Texans Sam Houston made the decision to evacuate the Texans along with the Texan army. Though this didn't play as major of a role it was important since it was a bit after the fall of The Alamo showing the Texans what difficulties they could face onwards.
  • Coleto Creek

    Coleto Creek
    The battle of Coleto Creek started on March 19, 1836. James Fannin, a Texan leader had been captured by General Urrea, under Santa Anna's orders Fannin & his soldiers were to be executed, though General Urrea disagreed with his orders, the prisoners at Goliad had been shot/stabbed resulting in the death of almost all of them. This was a big part of the Texas Revolution since it showed how unskilled Fannin was along with the loss of many Texan soldiers, which would then lead to even more war.
