  • The battle of Gonzales

    The first battle of the Texas Revolution was the battle of Gonzales. This battle was about a cannon that the Mexicans gave to the town of Gonzales to protect themselves but Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea thought it was a bad idea so he requested it back but that didn't work out. This was a tough-fought battle on both sides but in the end, the Texans won.
  • Siege of Bexar

    The Texan Republic Army marched to San Antonio de Bexar, this only consisted of about 90 men. This was the center of all the Mexican forces. The Texan army forced the Mexican army to retreat. The Texan army was led by Stephen F Austin.
  • Battle of Concepcion

    The Texans only had 92 men so they were greatly outnumbered. Santa Anna lost this battle yet again. The Texans had won, and it impacted the Texas Revolution because this was the first fight with major conflict.
  • Battle of the Alamo

    Mexico outnumbered Texas by a lot. Texas forces were surrounded. Santa Anna marched into this battle and won the battle.
  • Travis' Letter

    Travis wrote this letter to the people of Texas and Americans all around the world. Travis's letter requests assistance and tells them the situation of the battle. This letter states that they were going to fight till they lost the battle.
  • San Antonio March.

    The March on San Antonio encouraged many Texans that they could win and motivated them. This also made contemplate it's decisions. This impacted the revolution because it increased Texan's motivation, and because they successfully captured San Antonio.
