Texas Revolution and The Republic of Texas

  • Texans had declared independence from Mexico

    During the year of 1836, there was a convention that Texans wrote a declaration of independence. Sam Houston at the time became the commander of the Texas military.

    The Mexican soldiers killed all the Texans that were defending the Alamo after 13 days on the mission of the Alamo battle. This disaster, gave Texans and Americans to join together and go into war with Mexico.
