    The Battle of Gonzales was the first military battle of the Texas Revolution. Mexican soldiers attempted to take a small cannon from the village of Gonzales but came across an army of Texans. After a small fight, the Mexicans retreated and the Texans kept their cannon.

    The Battle of Goliad was the second fight of the Texas Revolution. On October 9th Texas settlers attacked the Mexican Army soldiers stationed at a fort near the Mexican Texas settlement of Goliad

    The Siege of San Antonio

    The Texans blockaded the city of San Antonio de Bexar, which was the largest Mexican town in Texas. A month after the blockade, the Texians attacked in December and accepted the Mexican surrender on December 9th.

    A Mexican army commanded by the Mexican dicator Santa Anna began to attack the fort Alamo. The Texans held out for nearly two weeks, but on March 6 Mexican forces broke through a breach in the outer wall of the courtyard and overpowered them.
