The Battle of Gonzales
The battle of Gonzales started because a mexican leader gave nacadoches a cannon. Then Colonel Domingo de Ugartechea made a big deal of how they should not have that mutch power. Then Domingo demanded for the cannon to be returned, but the people refused and a battle started. -

Only one Texas had been killed and another wounded. The Mexicans had suffered much great casualties- fourteen killed and thirty-nine wounded. Ninety Americans had successfully taken on several hundred trained soldiers. -

The Texas thought the Mexcicans were geting silver from a mule train. When the Texans found the Mexicans, but when they found the bags it was full of grass. So they took it, which led to the Mexicans not being able to feed they're livestock. -
