Christopher Columbus
Columbus was an Italian Captain who thought he could reach India by sailing across the Atlantic Ocean. He sailed across the Atlantic for weeks and when he reached an island he thought was in the indies.but he was really in the Bahamas.Thats when he began the Colombian exchange which was one of Columbus's lasting achievements. -
