law of April 6 1830
The law was a result of the Mier Y Teran Report caming back and saying that they wern’t following the laws set up. As a result this law was made to meep more Americans from coming in to Texas.

Mier Y Teran Report 1789 to 1832
Mexico sent Mier Y Teran to check on the settlements. As a Result of this they set up laws limiting immigration from the US., and prohibiting slavery

Battle of Velasco June 26 1832
Battle was the first bloodshed between Texas and Mexico, and was over a cannon the Texans had secured. In the end Ugarteche forces surrendered

Convention of 1832
In the convention of 1832 the council elected Stephen F Austin as their president. They also set up more laws for the Texans to follow.

Convention of 1833 was at San Felipe on April 1.
It was called to review the 11th article of the first Convention. The law said that there would be no more US immigrants. Sources

Stephen F Austin's imprisonment
The Mexican government imprisoned Texas colonizer stephen Austin . They did this to make sure tensions and rebellion would be least likely to happen.

Battle of Gonzales October 1
At the battle of Gonzales the US forces attacked the Mexican forces over a cannon they had secured. In the end the Mexican forces had to retreat.

Consultation at San Felipe de Austin November 1st-5th 1835
It was a meeting about texas’s freedom or provisional government where each person on the council got to say a plan for texas. In the end the votes for the declaration of independence were out numbered

Battle of the alamo Febuary 23 1836
The battle of the alamo lasted several weeks as the mexicans tried to cut off suplies for the Texas’s. They were also fighting and preparing for the final attack.

Fall of the alamo March 6th 1836
When the alamo finally fell the spanish had finally climbed over the walls and breached the church. From there they attacked the Texans until none of them were left living. Sources

Battle of San jacinto March 13 1836
This battle was the final event for the military on both sides. In the end Texas had captured Santa Anna and won their freedom Sources.

Siege of san Antonio October to December
The siege started on october when the Teas forces attacked San antonio. In the late december the Texans acepted the Mexican surrender.
