A horsey Morning
Every day before school Tex would go out into the horse's pen and feed his horse Negrito and take him for a morning ride. Then since Tex loved Negrito somuch he was going to straight home after school to get another ride in on Negrito before the sun went down. -
What a motorcycle?!?!
Tex always went to school with his friend Johnny Collins who picked him up every morning on his motorcycle. They also rode home together on the motorcycle which was very illegal since they were not old enough to ride two at a time since they were 14 years old. -
Bye, Bye, Horsey
As Tex came home from school he found his older brother Mason at home which was very confusing to tex. Mason was one of those people who never missed or skipped school because he was the star basketball player. When Tex and Mason started talking tex found out that Mason sold both their horses and wouldnt tell Tex where they were sold to. This started a major fight between the two brothers causing Tex to tell Mason he hated him. -
Fair Time!
Tex and Johnny Collins make their way to the city fair one night with the help from Johnny's older brother Bob and his girlfriend. They were told they could ride with them but they were not allowed to talk at all in the back seat. Bob drops the boys off at the front gate of the fair and tell them that they will be back at 10 to meet them there. -
Oh Hey Girl!
Once the boys were inside the fair they decided to meet up with the girls which was Johnny's sister Jamie and her friend. Tex had this time for johnny's sister so he was around her a little more than anyone else really. When they started talking to the girls thats when the brought up the gypsy and how Jamie wanted the boys to go see her. -
Past, Present, and Future
Once Jamie finally got the two boys into going to the gypsy lady they walked over to the tent and Jamie handed Johnny his dollar and told Tex she would pay for him too which he said no. Once in the tent with the gypsy she told Tex that he was a third generation cowboy and that he was one who was going to be one who stayed. Which the cowboy thing wasnt true. -
Good Morning Sir
The morning after the fair Tex and Mason get a wonderful wake up call to someone beating on there door. Mason was the one who got up and answered it because Tex had a extremely had headache from his hangover from the night before the he got from the Collins's older brother Charlie when they stopped by his apartment. The person at the door was Cole Collins the father of all the Collins kids. He came by to see who got his kids drunk at the fair last night and why bob drove home. -
I Don't Feel So Good
After Cole left their house Tex and Mason had a conversation about how Tex didn't feel so good and didn not want to go to school. At first Mason told him to go ahead and get over it and go to school because he had a hang over but, after that he decided to go ahead and let Tex stay home. -
Time For an Old Friend
The later on that night after Cole came by Mason's old and really good friend Lem stoped by to see Mason and Tex to tell them his good news. Lem was super excited to tell the boys that he was going to be a father. After they conversated about that for a while they started talking about Lem's job which is a drug dealer. Mason doesn't really agree with Lem's life but he doesn't go out of his way to tell Lem that.
