    E1 A1 Flight 426 (1968) The flight was hijacked in Israel from the terror group called PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) They took the plane hostage for five weeks until Israel would agree to the trade. The plane landed in Palestine, and on that plane were 12 Israeli people and 10 crew members. It took 40 days of negotiations to reach an agreement and everyone including the hijackers were freed.

    TWA Flight 847 was hijacked on June 14 1985 by six members from Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad.The terrorist wanted the release of the Kuwait 17 who were involved with the bombing of the US embassy in Kuwait in 1983.

    On February 26, 1993 the World Trade Center in New York City was bombed by Palestinian extremists. The bomb which weighed 1200 lbs was in the back of a Ryder truck and was parked in the parking garage beneath the World Trade Center. The person in charge of that bombing was Ramzi Yousef. The bombing killed six people and injured 1000 more. Six out of the seven terrorists were caught and sentenced 100-240 years in prison.

    On April 19,1995 a truck loaded with explosives was detonated outside of the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols were former US army soldiers, associated with the Patriot Movement which rejects the federal government and reinforcement.

    On September 11, 2001 Terrorists hijacked four airliners and crashed them into three different sites in the Eastern United States.19 members of an Islamic extremist group called Al Qaeda took over the four planes.Two of the planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City. During this terrorist attack about 3,000 people were killed and 6,000 were injured.

    On April 15, 2013 two bombs went off near the finish line of the Boston Marathon in Massachusetts, killing three spectators and injuring more than 260 people. At about 2:49 pm there were about 5,600 runners still in the race and the first bomb went off, a few minutes later the second bomb went off. The bomb were made from pressure cookers, filled with shrapnel and then put into backpacks which was left in very crowded areas near the finish line.

    On August 19, 2014, the Islamic State, or ISIS, a still relatively unknown terrorist organization, released a four-minute video showing James Foley’s beheading. In it, Foley kneels next to a man dressed in black and reads a message, assumed to be written by his captors, in which he condemns America and its operations in Iraq. His death ended an almost two year hostage crisis.

    On june 12, 2016 a gunman open fired at an Orlando nightclub called Pulse. 50 people were killed and 53 more were injured by a 29 year old shooter named Omar Mateen. Mateen stormed the Pulse Nightclub about 2 AM with an AR-15 and a handgun. Authorities know that Mateen called 911 before the attack saying that he is loyal and pledged his allegiance to ISIS. 5 AM 11 police stormed the nightclub and exchanged fire, killing Mateen
