    It was the deadliest terrorist attack on Americans. The attack killed 241 U.S. Marines, sailors, and soldiers. The terrorist hijacked a water delivery truck and replaced it with a truck full of explosives. More than 12,000 pounds of TNT were loaded in the truck.
