Elkins Act
This act was passed to stop the practice of rebates, refunds for large businesses that shipped large shipments; and it was named after Senator Stephen B. Elkins of West Virginia; and it is a federal law that amended the Interstate Commerce Act of 1887. -
Devils Tower
In 1906 there was an Act that was past called “The Antiquities Act of June 1906” which set aside any area of land that the President sees as a historical or scientific interest. Devils Tower was the first declared United States National Monument. -
